SSS22 You're a Hoot!

The above card uses a sketch from Sweet N' Sassy's SSS22 Sketch Challenge...."A Sketch with a Spin". The 'spin' was to use the colors red, tan, and black on the project. My pattern papers are from Basic Grey's 'June Bug' 6X6 paper pad. I colored the white areas of the black/white dotted paper with a tan colored copic marker so that the paper would blend in with the color scheme.
I thought adding the natural string to the scalloped lace would work well with the branch on the main image. I also used the tan copic marker to edge around the white circle of the main image. Of course, the image is colored using my favorite coloring tools -- Copic Markers.
Other D-Tails:
Cardstock: PTI Select White, Gina K Pure Luxury Rocket Red, SU Basic Black, PTI Kraft
Stamped Image: "Owl Occassions" (SNSS)
Embellishments/Tools: Scalloped Circle Punch, Circle Punch, Pearls, Crocheted Lace, Natural String, Black Micron Permanent Ink Pen, Dimensionals
Encouraging words continue to arrive in my email and I do appreciate each and every one of them.
I'd also like to WELCOME all of my new 'Followers'....I'm so glad you are here!
Until next time,
Make time to create but remember to have fun and enjoy the experience!
